About S. James Sikkema

Jim Sikkema lives in rural Bedford County, Virginia with his wife of 31 years, Linda Edwards.  A Licensed Clinical Social Worker, he is a partner at Edwards-Sikkema Associates, a private practice in historic downtown Lynchburg specializing in clinical and organizational development services.  Originally from Kansas, Jim chose to live in the mountains of Virginia because of the beauty and the culture.  For 32 years, Jim's career was with Blue Ridge Behavioral Healthcare in Roanoke, where, after a variety of senior management roles, he became Chief Executive Officer.  After retiring in 2007, Jim and Linda became committed volunteers in healthcare and the arts of Central Virginia.  Jim is honored to represent Bedford County on the Horizon Behavioral Health Board.  He has been on the board since 2010.
